ARE YOU THE NEXT MAJOR ART CRITIC?

The Frieze Writer's Prize, an annual international award to discover and promote new art critics, is now open for entries. The winner will be commissioned to write a review for frieze and awarded £2,000.
Aspiring art writers are invited to submit one unpublished review of a recent contemporary art exhibition, from anywhere around the world.
Guidelines for Submission - Entries must be submitted in English and 700 words in length. - Entrants must be 18 years or over at the time of submission. - Entrants may have had a maximum of three previously published pieces of writing on art.
The deadline for submissions is 21 July, 2015. We look forward to receiving your entries!

MEET THE JUDGES
This year, the prize will be judged by Chloe Aridjis, the London-based author of Asunder(2013); Paul Teasdale, Assistant Editor offrieze; and Hamza Walker (pictured), speaker at the upcoming edition of Frieze Talks (Frieze New York) and Co-Curator of 'Made in L.A. 2016'.

2014 WINNER
Linda Taylor won the 2014 Writer's Prize with her review of Robert Filby's exhibition at Piper Keys, London. Linda has subsequently written about Roy Voss at Matt's Gallery, London. The review appeared in the March 2015 issue of frieze.
